Churches in Harxheim
The history of the two churches standing directly next to each other in Harxheim is extremely interesting.
A very special piece of contemporary history are the records of the Harxheim pastor Würth, who documented life in Harxheim in the years 1909 to 1920 – and thus the difficult times during the First World War – in the form of a church diary. These documents are not only interesting from a historical and harxheim-specific point of view, but also and above all because they are the view of an eyewitness at the respective moments of the event. Highly recommended!
