The Harxheim Contemporary Witness Project of the HVV has set itself the goal of preserving and processing the knowledge of bygone days from contemporary witnesses from the respective decades.

Many people from Harxheim have spontaneously agreed to take part in an extensive video interview and to talk about past times, events and anecdotes. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks for their courage and willingness to appear in front of cameras and share their personal memories with future generations.

The result is overwhelming: countless hours of footage with memories, stories and histories – a very special perspective on the place and its history.

The preparation of these extraordinary sources will still take some time, and so Viedo articles on specific topics will be published here suzkzessive again and again.
