Elle \u00e9tait affectueusement appel\u00e9e l&rsquo;<strong>Amiche<\/strong> et passait \u00e9galement par Harxheim. La mise en service d&rsquo;une ligne dite \u00ab\u00a0secondaire\u00a0\u00bb reliant Bodenheim \u00e0 Alzey a repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin du 19e si\u00e8cle un saut quantique en termes de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique de la commune de Harxheim. L&rsquo;ouverture de la ligne a eu lieu le 28 septembre 1896, la mise en service effective date du 1er octobre 1896.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La liaison de 30,9 km entre Bodenheim et Alzey \u00e9tait adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 la topographie des collines de la Hesse rh\u00e9nane et se caract\u00e9risait en cons\u00e9quence par de nombreux virages et des mont\u00e9es parfois difficiles. En amont, de nombreux d\u00e9bats contradictoires et de longues disputes ont eu lieu sur le trac\u00e9 pr\u00e9vu. Comme le terrain de chaque gare devait \u00eatre mis \u00e0 disposition gratuitement, les communes situ\u00e9es le long de la ligne ferroviaire ont d\u00fb mettre la main au porte-monnaie pour r\u00e9aliser la ligne.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\u00a0\u00bb4.22.0&Prime; _module_preset=\u00a0\u00bbdefault\u00a0\u00bb hover_enabled=\u00a0\u00bb0&Prime; sticky_enabled=\u00a0\u00bb0&Prime;]<\/p>\n<p>Au total, huit gares ont \u00e9t\u00e9 construites, ainsi que deux autres points d&rsquo;arr\u00eat sur la ligne de train. Des voies de chargement suppl\u00e9mentaires \u00e9taient pr\u00e9vues pour les commer\u00e7ants et les agriculteurs. Le transport des betteraves \u00e0 sucre pouvait d\u00e9sormais se faire plus efficacement et plus rapidement. Ils se ressemblent \u00e0 quelques d\u00e9tails pr\u00e8s. Ils sont con\u00e7us soit en deux parties avec une remise \u00e0 marchandises en bois, soit en trois parties avec une remise \u00e0 marchandises s\u00e9par\u00e9e. Pour les ouvrages en deux parties, la r\u00e9alisation peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre invers\u00e9e. Toutes les stations de Bodenheim, Gau-Bischofsheim, Harxheim-L\u00f6rzweiler, Mommenheim, Selzen-Hahnheim, K\u00f6ngernheim-Undenheim, Bechtolsheim, Gau-Odernheim, GauK\u00f6ngernheim, Framersheim, Schafhausen et Alzey \u00e9taient solennellement d\u00e9cor\u00e9es. Les associations de guerriers, de gymnastes et de chanteurs avec leurs drapeaux, les pompiers, les \u00e9coles et les habitants des communes concern\u00e9es ont accueilli les participants au cort\u00e8ge par des coups de canon, des chants, des acclamations, de la musique et des drapeaux agit\u00e9s. Les maires des diff\u00e9rentes localit\u00e9s ont prononc\u00e9 des discours. Gastell, Mainz-Mombach) ainsi que trente wagons de marchandises (Talbot, Aix-la-Chapelle) sur la ligne. Au d\u00e9but, cinq trains de voyageurs circulaient quotidiennement sur l&rsquo;ensemble de la ligne dans les deux sens, ainsi qu&rsquo;un train du matin de Undenheim\/K\u00f6ngernheim \u00e0 Alzey.
